Slobodan Milosevic was born on August 20th, 1941 in the town Pozarevac.

            He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Belgrade University in 1964. He used to be one of the most successful Yugoslav businessman and managers in seventies and eighties.

            He was in two mandates elected President of the Republic of Serbia (elections in 1990 and 1992) in the period 1990-1997.

            He was elected as President of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia for the period 1997-2001.

            Slobodan Milosevic was founder (in 1990) of the Socialist Party of Serbia and he is the President of the Socialist Party of Serbia, the strongest and largest opposition party in Serbia and Yugoslavia.

            The name and activities of the President Slobodan Milosevic have been always related to the preservation of Yugoslavia and the most important state and national interests of our country and our people. Under his leadership, democratic and economic reforms have been performed in Serbia and Yugoslavia, protecting social character of the state, its freedom and independence.

            President Slobodan Milosevic used to be the strongest pillar of peace and stability in this region. He has given the most important and crucial contribution to all efforts to reestablish peace and stability in the region, including to the Dayton/Paris Peace Agreement.

            President Slobodan Milosevic strongly advocated peaceful resolution of the problem of Serbia’s Province Kosovo and Metohija. However, he could not accept the occupation of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia which was tried to be imposed through the so called Rambouillet Accord.

            President Slobodan Milosevic led the resistance of our people and country against NATO aggression that represented clear violation of international law and crime against peace.

            President Slobodan Milosevic has been imprisoned by the current regime on April 01st, 2001 under false and forged accusations on so called abuse of official position.

            President Slobodan Milosevic was kidnapped and illegally delivered to the so called Hague "Tribunal" on June 28th, 2001 in an act which represents violation of both Yugoslav and Serbian Constitution and relevant laws.

He was kidnapped on St. Vitus day - holly day for whole Serbian nation - to produce national humiliation that has been never recorded in the history of Yugoslavia and Serbia.

President Slobodan Milosevic is one of the biggest national heroes in the history of Yugoslavia and Serbia. He is living symbol of our freedom, future, independence, resistance, heroism and glory.
